Our staff dedicates at least 24 hours in each reporting period to training on the specifics of single audit reporting. This is achieved using nationally recognized external instructors and through internal training that interprets our methodology and performance expectations to our team members. 

Our assurance approach will ensure compliance with single audit requirements. We will verify that the amounts recorded on the schedule of expenditures of federal awards agree with the underlying financial records and reports. We will verify assistance listing numbers and develop appropriate compliance and internal controls over compliance tests for major federal programs as determined by our risk-based planning procedures. 

We will utilize your grant documents, federal compliance supplements, and interviews with your program, accounting, and executive leadership teams to perform our testing. 

Our tests of the internal control structure over compliance will be designed to achieve a low level of control risk, and any deviations will be reported to management in the appropriate forum. Any compliance issues noted during our audit of the major federal programs will be reported per single audit reporting requirements. We will provide you with a comprehensive report at the end of the engagement and assist you in completing the data collection form to ensure you stay compliant with federal regulations.
