Tamara’s responsibilities include leadership of all aspects of client service for audits, reviews, compilations and tax compliance for not-for-profit (NFP) organizations. She began her career at CSH in 2008, serving NFP organizations and became a member of the firm’s Not-for-Profit Group in 2012. She is also experienced in working with manufacturing organizations and individual tax needs. Tamara works with a wide variety of organizations, including museums, community foundations and social service NFPs, ranging in size from start-up to having billion-dollar investment portfolios.
Tamara enjoys providing help in any way needed; not only through the compliance process, but throughout the year as questions arise. She frequently visits organizations served to discover innovative and exciting ways to help out. Tamara has published several articles, co-hosted webinars and has a few short videos with helpful NFP specific content, including the differences between contribution and fee-for-service revenue, providing clarity to the three net asset classifications for NFP entities, and taking an in-depth look at the impact of the new NFP reporting requirements on the horizon.
