Justin’s work with partnerships, limited liability companies, and S corporations has given him experience with complex tax issues, including entity structuring, transaction planning, and compliance issues related to multi-tiered partnerships and tax credits. Justin primarily serves clients in the real estate industry and is a member of the firm’s Construction and Real Estate steering committee.
Justin is a frequent speaker on income tax topics as well as those specifically applicable to the real estate industry. He’s given presentations in Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati, Columbus, Toledo, and Lansing, MI. He has presented at HCDC, Inc.; Queen City Angels; NAIOP Dayton Chapter; and the ULI Cincinnati 18 Hour City Series; among others.
Clients appreciate Justin’s ability to explain and implement tax savings strategies such as Section 1031 like-kind exchanges, cost segregation studies, and deferral of capital gains through using the opportunity zone incentive.
